In 2007, Julie Dobinson, together with Phil Davey, Lois Clifford and Di Simpson, established Dobinson Davey Clifford Simpson, now DDCS Lawyers.
Julie has over 30 years’ experience in all aspects of family law disputes. Julie has particular expertise in dispute resolution processes, and introduced Collaborative Law to Australia and co-authored the Family Law Council Report to the Attorney General about Collaborative Practice. Today, Julie is a nationally accredited and highly regarded family law mediator.

She has strong relationships within the Canberra business community and has a deep understanding of commercial realities.
Julie has spent many years dedicated to various boards and committees, including the Canberra Region Family Law Professionals Association, Law Australasia, the National Foundation for Australian Women, the Women’s Legal Centre (ACT) and the ACT Law Society. Julie currently serves on the Professional Standards Committee of the ACT Law Society.
Julie is an Accredited Specialist – Family Law of the NSW Law Society and has a Master of Laws (Dispute Resolution).
