Emily is a partner of DDCS Lawyers, and has practiced exclusively in family law since her admission to practice in 2014.
Emily is recognised for her considered, pragmatic advice and her thoughtful, client focussed approach. Emily has extensive experience in complex property and parenting disputes, and regularly acts in parenting matters involving allegations of risk, including family violence, substance abuse, mental health concerns, relocation and parental alienation.
Emily has a particular interest in parenting matters concerning young children, drawing on her understanding of the developmental significance of the early years and the unique pressures faced by new parents facing separation and relationship change. With this insight, Emily is able to tailor her approach – whether through careful negotiation and mediation, or strong, strategic litigation – to best meet the needs of each family.
