Emily has been working in the legal profession since 2015, first as a paralegal in the field of personal injuries and subsequently in family law since 2022.  Emily was admitted as a legal practitioner in the ACT Supreme Court in October 2022.  

Emily is an outcome focused lawyer and strives to make family law easier for her clients. She is respectful of her clients’ experiences and understands the personal perspective needed in navigating family law issues. Emily focuses on finding solutions that are practical and efficient, and specialises in assisting clients to find and formalise out-of-court solutions.  

Emily is organised and attentive to the needs and expectations of her clients. She works closely with the Partners and Senior Associates of the firm to produce high-quality and sophisticated legal services. Through her compassionate and approachable demeanour, Emily assists the firm’s clients feel heard and put at ease.  

Emily is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, the ACT Women Lawyers Association and the Canberra Region Family Law Professionals Association.
