Anika graduated from the Australian National University with a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws with Honours in December 2018. Joining DDCS Lawyers in 2021, Anika brings strong research skills and commercial acumen, with a balanced understanding of family law.
During her studies, Anika worked at a family law firm for 3.5 years and spent a month working at the Women’s Legal Centre here in Canberra. Upon graduating, Anika worked at a commercial firm in Canberra, working in public law, before relocating to Brisbane to undertake an Associateship at the Federal Court of Australia.
Anika was admitted in the Supreme Court of Queensland as a lawyer in 2020 and spent a year working at a mid-tier commercial law firm in Brisbane.
Upon moving back to Canberra, Anika returned to family law. She has always been passionate about assisting people to navigate their relationship breakdown and enjoys working to find solutions for clients.
Anika is a member of the Women’s Lawyer’s Association of the ACT, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and the Canberra Family Law Practitioners’ Association.
